One week. No future. No past. No more.
Alexandria Collins has one week to live carefree—no ghosts of her past or pressures of her future haunting her. Reinventing herself as "Charli," she is knocked off her feet by a sexy, mysterious man who brings her pleasure like she never imagined.  With her heart at stake, she forgets that decisions made in the dark of night reappear in the bright light of day.

"Some of my tastes are unique. They aren’t for everyone. I understand that.”

Lennox "Nox" Demetri is wealthy, confident, and decisive—he knows what he wants. From the first time he sees Charli at an exclusive resort, he knows he wants her. Although he is usually the one to make the rules, together they agree on one:

One week. No more.

When betrayal comes from those closest to Alexandria, she must decide how far she is willing to go to survive. Choices are not always easy, especially when they involve the heart, body, and soul. After all, Infidelity is a business, and some rules are meant to be broken.

"Is it really cheating if you're doing it to yourself?"

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a sexy, new dominant hero who knows what he wants, and a strong-willed heroine who has plans of her own. With classic Aleatha Romig twists, turns, deceptions, and devotions, this new epic dark romance will have readers swooning one minute and screaming the next. Have you been Aleatha'd?

BETRAYAL is a full-length novel and the first of five in the INFIDELITY series.

EXCERPT
I'd tried to recall exactly what he'd looked and sounded like earlier that day. But with each passing hour the recollections had become embellished in my mind. I recalled the sun behind his head now as a radiating glow. His voice, deep and stirring, in my memory rolled like thunder, fluttering my tummy while melting my insides. His chest wasn't just muscular, it was sculpted, and I no longer just remembered the sight of his dark hair and slight facial stubble.
Now, my skin tingled at the thought of its touch—so real,
as if I'd felt it against the most sensitive of my parts.
When I stepped past the woman and exited the glass doors, my breathing hitched.
I hadn't embellished, not really. With the orange glow of the setting sun sending prisms dancing off the waves below, the man casually leaning against the rail was everything I'd imagined and more. Despite the ocean breeze, his casual stance, the way one hand lingered in the pocket of his pants while the other held tightly to a tall fluted glass of light colored liquid, filled me with warmth.
I was glad that Chelsea had talked me into wearing a dress and that I'd insisted on wearing panties. As he stood to walk toward me, the light gray suit coat he wore moved effortlessly accentuating his shoulders and forming a V to his trim waist.
If I'd thought he was handsome in his swim trunks, he was even better in a silk suit.
The white shirt he wore was unbuttoned at the neck and
his strong jaw was covered with just a hint of stubble.
Whoever this man was, he wore the combination of casual and class with ease.
I remained still as his grin grew and he scanned me from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Just like earlier at the pool, the gaze of his light blue eyes burned my skin, sending a rush of heat and leaving goose bumps in its wake. I found myself lost in the paleness of his eyes, like pools of liquid, I imagined drowning in their depths, and then, they settled on mine.
"Welcome, Charli, with an I. I'm very glad you accepted my invitation." Flutters like butterfly wings filled my tummy as I searched the horizon for clouds of an impending storm.
There were none. It was him.
His voice did roll like the low rumble of thunder.
"Would you like to have a seat?" he asked, reaching for my elbow and leading me toward the table.
I almost jumped at the touch of his warm skin against mine. Electricity like I'd never felt surged through my veins setting off detonations at each synapse.
My eyes snapped to his, and for just a moment, I believed he felt the same thing, but just as quickly, his expression found its casual confident demeanor.
"Yes," I said, trying also to ignore the chemistry that threatened to knock me off my feet.
"Thank you. You didn't need to go to all this work."
He laughed. "It wasn't me."

Title: City Beautiful
Author: CM Foss
Release Date: June 29, 2015
Find on Goodreads

Patrick Thompson is all city, all the time. A young doctor, once full of passion, now disillusioned by the practice, he sets off across the country, intent on a small breather before a fresh start.

Ivy Lang loves the country way. So much so that she’s created a place where others can experience her ideas of the fundamentals for both mind and body. The life is perfect for her, carefully cultivated by her own hands.

He’s waiting for something to inspire him.

She finds inspiration all around her.

But when a chance meeting turns their worlds upside down, can they come together to create something

beautiful?

Steph's Review:

Maybe I should just start calling Cm Foss

 The "GOAT"... aka

The Greatest of All Time!

**SIGH**

City Beautiful is dreamy.

It embodies everything that makes a book perfect:

Flawless, impeccable writing with such vivid detail, lovable characters that weave their way into your heart, fits of giggle snorts, a few tears, and of course more than enough romance to rev up your heart and make you swoon!

Ivy and Patrick are EPIC!

This couple truly makes my heart happy!

My obsession love for CM Foss continues to grow...

I LOVE YOU, Doll!

Your #1 Fan ;)

5 STARS

CM Foss is a hopeless romantic with a love for the written word. When she was little, her mom would ration her books so she wouldn’t go through them too quickly. It didn’t matter, she would just re-read. She’s always been an avid equestrian, competing in the top levels of Three Day Eventing by age seventeen. CM now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and kids where they own and operate their own equestrian business, as well as raising grass-fed, sustainable meats. She doesn’t have this thing people call “free time”, but she does spent a weird amount of time writing, reading, playing with her kids, milking goats, and drinking wine, while avoiding bananas at all costs. Other books by CM Foss include Shiver and Swoon.

Steph

I’ve never been your typical girl.

I didn’t grow up in a warm fuzzy family, and emotions weren’t something
 I needed now.

Love has never been something I could wrap my mind around, so why bother?

I know what I’m good at.

I’m a great friend, have a passion for healing others, and a way with horses.

I can be all those things at the same time without ever
discussing my own feelings.

Until him.

Lawrence

I’ve always been told I have a way with words.
It’s one reason I manage the family business so well.
I can wine and dine with the best of them, selling bloodlines and high-priced stallion services over a five-course dinner.

I’m able to talk myself into or out of just about anything and anyone.

Until her.

****

Young and carefree, living worlds apart, they indulged in what seemed like the perfect fling.

Until Lawrence decided he wanted more.

Until Steph’s careful world fell apart.

Until they had to decide if love was worth the fight.

Steph's
5 STAR Review:

My girl Tina Turner says it all...

Simply the best.

Better than all the rest.

You speak the language of love like you know it means.

CM, I hang on I every word you say write!

Cm Foss has a unique talent of intertwining the lives of her characters
 into those of her readers.

I easily got lost in Steph and Lawrence's world.

Their love is almost a case of opposites attract, if you will.

Swoon if full of hilarious witty banter and romance with a hint angst.

The chemistry between Steph and Lawrence is palpable, but that's
 the easy part.

It's not all rainbows and butterflies for these two on their
journey to love.

Compromises must be made.

Steph is hella cool, although I did want to cunt punt her a time...or two.

I am totally crushing on her.

She has a heart of gold, even without truly experiencing any form of
love growing up.Her childhood was far from ideal.
She had to "grow up" way too fast.

She's SUPER independent, compassionate, funny, sassy but terrified of love.

Until Lawrence.

Lawrence is amazing. The epitome of perfection.

 Completely SWOON~worthy!

I am infatuated with him.

His loving and nurturing upbringing has made him a
very desirable man.
He is charming, patient, loving, loyal, and
uninterested in settling down.

Until Steph.

I am so in love with SWOON.

SWOON "can be" read as a stand alone.

However,I recommend reading "SHIVER" first.
Not only is it reallly good,
It gives a lot of background and insight on the characters.

Ten minutes later, I had to walk back through the kitchen to get some laundry from the dryer in the mudroom. I had a towel wrapped around my waist and that was it. Steph’s eyes followed me, her eyebrows raised as she sipped on a glass of wine and lazily stirred whatever was in the pan. I winked as I passed by.

I returned a minute later dressed in sweatpants and a T-shirt.

She was still in the same position. “That was indecent.”

“What? The towel?”

She pursed her lips and nodded.

“Sweetheart, you've seen me in less. And what we've done together could never be considered decent. You’re lucky I was covered at all.”

She laughed loudly, taking another long sip from her glass and turning back to the stove.

I reached into the fridge for a beer and popped it open. “Sure you don’t need me to help?”

She responded without turning around. “Nope. Why don’t you find something on TV to watch and I’ll bring dinner in just a sec.”

I nodded as I walked to the living room, really just to myself since she wouldn’t look at me. Sighing heavily, I sank down on the couch and closed my eyes for a moment. I’d lied earlier. I was tired. Not only was I pulling long hours in the saddle, but I’d been spending most of my free time on the phone with clients from home. A couple of them were causing problems, and my dad needed me to talk them off the ledge. It’s what I excelled at.

I was startled awake by the sound of a plate being set on the table in front of me and the feel of the couch dipping as Steph sat down, smirking.

“Gosh, you need to get in better shape.”

“Shut up,” I muttered as I sat up, rubbing my hands over my face. At least now she seemed infinitely more comfortable in her own skin since she had something to tease me about. “I was just resting my eyes.”

“You were snoring.”

“I was not.” I started to laugh.

“Totally snoring.”

“I don’t snore,” I insisted.

“How would you know? You’re sleeping.”

“Someone would have told me.”

“No girlfriend would ever mention it,” she pointed out.

I shook my head. “I wasn't talking about a girlfriend.”

“No one-night stand would ever mention it.”

“You just did!”

There was a moment of silence after I blurted that out. Steph’s eyes were wide, but when they met mine, we both erupted into laughter, doubling over, shoulders shaking. My stomach actually hurt by the time we were finished. Steph wiped under her eyes and I took a deep breath, relaxing back into the couch with a sigh.

“Let’s face it,” she said. “I’m more than just a one-night stand.”

I live in beautiful Northern Virginia with my incredible husband, two awesome kids, three dogs, and two budgies. My husband and I both grew up riding and competing horses and have our own equestrian operation that we run together.

In my spare time, I read through the hundreds of stories awaiting me on my e-reader.

My love of books started early, and my mom used to ration my reading time so I didn’t go through them too quickly. I love all things romantic, whether it’s dark or light or silly or dirty, but I really love a happy ending!

In my small moments of quiet time, you’ll find me sipping on wine and reading while any movie where people randomly burst into song or dance plays in the background.

~SAIL~ by ~ M.Mabie

magic size
Sail
~Book Two in The Wake Series~
M. Mabie
Blog Tour 13th – 25th April

Synopsis

This isn’t just a two-year long one-night stand. It’s my life.

This is my life.

Our life.

It isn’t just some careless affair.

I’ve made the worst decisions a woman could, but I’ll earn my second chance.
She can try keeping all the guilt for herself, but I’m just as much to blame.
Loving Casey wasn’t my biggest mistake. Fighting it for so long was.
I’ll show her how fearless our love makes me. I’ll protect her torn heart.

He still has magic in his eyes. He’s the man who makes me happy.
Her voice still brings me to my knees. She says my name like it’s sacred.

I live for the day when I’m his. To take care of him. To love him the way he deserves.
I can’t wait to be all she needs. I can give her a happy life, security and so much love.

Sometimes two ships never meet in the night, but ours did.
Sometimes the water is rough. It beats you all to hell until you have no choice but get stronger.

Our love story reads more like a tragedy, but to me it’s clean and pure.

Let them point their fingers. Without a love like ours, they haven’t really lived. I pity them.
I’m a cheating wife and a villain. I am his honeybee.
I’m a snake in the grass and I sleep best when I’m lying next to his wife.

I want to be his everything.
I’m nothing without her anyway.

This isn’t even close to over.
It’ll never be over.

**Sail is the second book in the continuing Wake Series**

Excerpt:

The room was dimly lit with the few lights we’d left on. It was late, and even though I was tired from travel and just life in general, I craved the feel of him.
Our suite was warm, void of chill or worry. In the bedroom, we didn’t bother with a light, knowing where everything was by memory.
He guided me to bed. He let my hair down and brushed it off my shoulders, and then he held me close and pressed his lips to mine. Casey laid us down so softly I barely knew we were moving until I felt the fluffy pillow under my head.
I deepened our kiss and moaned when his body pressed against mine.
“We’re not going to have sex tonight, Blake,” he said breathlessly around my lips. Why? I wanted him so badly. Just like that. Slow and easy.
I tried to evict thoughts of uncertainty from my mind, but they snuck in with his words. His behavior was contradictory. He’d shown me nothing but affection and care since we saw each other in the airport.
Why wouldn’t he make love to me?
Old demons felt the need to speak up.
What if he doesn’t want you after the chase? What if he only likes the thrill?
I felt my body begin to tense for the first time since we’d arrived. The hands that had been wandering across his back stilled. The leg I had started to wrap around his waist slowly began falling to the side.
“Hey, where are you going,” he said, as he kissed my neck and ran a hand through my hair to the nape of my neck.
“I don’t understand,” I contested. “I want you.” He shifted his weight and I felt how hard he was against my inner thigh. He was definitely turned on. So what was his deal? “Don’t you want me, too?”
“Mmmm,” he breathed near my ear. “God, I want you.” His big right hand hitched my leg back around his hip and he palmed my ass, bringing my dress up to my waist in the process and exposing my pale pink underwear. “I’ve wanted you day and night for so long now. I don’t know how to not want you.” He spoke between kisses and rubbed his nose along my clavicle. Then he bit me gently at the crook of my neck. “But there’ve been too many times I’ve let that need for you cloud my focus.”
“But I—”
“No, Blake. Not tonight. Tonight, I’m going to make you come and then I’m going to sleep next to you. I’m going to fall asleep with you in my arms. All those nights I missed out on holding you and feeling you next to me. I stole them from both of us being scared and stubborn.
I have to be better this time. I see all that you’re doing and I’m so damn proud of you, honeybee,” he said calmly. “But I want more than just physical things from you. It isn’t that I don’t want you. Fuck, do I want you. But I need all of you. Not just this.” He moved against my center and I knew I had to change his mind. After hearing those sweet
words, I had to have him and I wasn’t going to fight fair.
“Please, Casey. Fuck me.”
He growled and pressed his forehead to my chest. “You’re evil.” He laughed. I wished he sounded defeated, but mostly he sounded amused. “You’re not making it easy for me to be noble.”
“Don’t be noble then,” I said as I wound my arms around him and
pulled him closer to me.
“If you knew what I was thinking about doing to you, you’d know I wasn’t.” He rolled partially over toward the center of the bed and ran his hand under my dress and up to my breast.
“Then tell me,” I shamelessly suggested.
The tips of his fingers roamed down my stomach and my pulse sped up. His fingers slid under the sheer fabric of my underwear and my breaths came in spurts as I mentally begged him to keep going. I was so wound up.
“Don’t worry. I told you I’d take care of you.”
