Strings by Kendall Grey

SYNOPSIS

WARNING: STRINGS is not suitable for slut shamers, uptight stone throwers, Holier-Than-Thou prudes, humorless virgins, persons with chronic neck or back pain, pearl-clutching bitties, those who disparage crude humor or vulgarity in their many forms, closed-minded people with sticks up their asses, or anyone under the age of 18. The vile, base language and shocking, unholy sexual acts contained herein are not condoned by anyone with a lick of sense and should certainly not be reproduced without proper training and protection. The potty-mouthed and perpetually horny "heroine" (the term is used loosely) of this book does not resemble a normal, well-adjusted, or remotely believable person in any way, shape, or form. The author acknowledges that the characters in this book are shallow and two-dimensional; the plot is both ridiculous and insipid. She makes no apologies for any of it.

Free-spirited musician Letty Dillinger adheres to a strict, “no strings attached” policy when it comes to men. After a wild night of unabashed sex in a fancy hotel room, she never expects to see the adventurous stud she dubs “Shades” again. When her all-girl rock trio books a tour at the last minute as the opening act for their archenemies, Letty’s shocked to discover she knows the competition’s new lead singer. Intimately. Shades is no longer a one-night stand. Now he’s the guy she has to one-up on stage every night for the sake of her career.

Sharing close quarters on a bus with her sexy nemesis and his bad-boy buddies puts Letty’s Golden Rule to the test. On this tour, guitar strings aren’t the only things being played. And when heartstrings are pulled too hard, they’re bound to snap sooner or later.

REVIEW

HOLY FUCKING BUTT HURT, BATMAN! This book is fan-fucking-tastic! I've officially declared Kendall Grey my new BFF! I don't care if she doesn't want to be my BFF. That's just too fucking bad because she's stuck with me for life now. Kendall Grey SCHOOLED me on highly inappropriate words and phrases. I thought for sure I was a master in that department but I was SOOOOOOOO wrong! The master became the student! Holy fuck I've never laughed so hard in my life!
The warning on this book sold me alone. I didn't need to actually read the synopsis to push me into buying this book. So first I want to say this.  The TwatWeasels that have left bad reviews obviously did not read the GIANT FUCKING WARNING for this book or didn't take it seriously. It's not a ploy or gimmick to get you to read this book. It's an actual warning and every word is meant to be taken seriously. So if you're not running for the hills after that being said then lets get down to business.
Letty Dillinger is a BAD ASS rock chick in an all girls band.

She gets her ass drunk on her 25th birthday and end up having a one night stand with the HOT AS FUCK guy she met at the bar that she calls Shades.

I can't even begin to describe to you how disturbingly hot that one night stand was. To me it really was disturbing but at the same time it made me want to
So after sneaking out the next morning. She goes about her day, yada yada and then finds out at rehearsal with her band that her manager Jillian wants Cherry Buzz Float (her band) to tour with Killer Dixon, which also happens to be their archnemesis because of a stolen song argument that bandmate Kate has with them. But alas it  gets better! The newest member of Killer Dixon is Todd Armstrong AKA Shades and just so happens to be Letty's one night stand. They try to pretend that they don't like each other while on tour but they're drawn to each other and can't keep their hands off each other. These two are HAAAAWT together! I literally felt like my house was going to

from the heat rising from my lady bits just reading the sex between Letty and Shades.

The supporting characters are awesome as well. They all made me fall in love with them. Well except Kate. She's just a giant fucking TunaTwat I wanted to cunt punt.  But I loved all the other characters. Rax was a huge fucking douche canoe but I still felt his loyalty and plus he made me laugh a lot. I highly recommend this book for the Pervy at heart! Strings gets 5 stars from me!

  1. Oh my God, great review! This book was fanfuckingfreaktastic. I could not put it down. My jaw dropped more times than Letty's panties. The things Ms Grey did with the English language...I am in awe! I wonder if she'll be my BFF, too.
