TANGLED - Emma Chase Review and GIVEAWAY!

Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything - or anyone - derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

Wendy's laugh-so-hard-I-had-tears-in-my-eyes-fucking-hilarious 5 star review

Tangled, or rather Drew Evans fucking kills me! Emma Chase rocked my world with her manly POV and exact speech, representations, and all that can embody a mans man. I shit you not, if you're not hooked from the very first chapter of this book....well, maybe you're just not human. LOL

Okay, Drew has the "flu". His house is a pit, he's been MIA for a week and finally his sister "The Bitch" shows up to knock him around a few times, or at least that's what she should do. Drew starts to tell his story starting from the beginning, 4 months ago.

This story is literally told from a mans POV, well, Emma's not a man, but I swear to God that after Tangled, she could totally be my boyfriend (if I weren't married, I'd ask her out).

Drew is an I-banker at one of the most prestigious investment bank firms in NYC, this is also where his father hires on Kate. I can instantly see the connection between Drew and Kate, but there is a problem here. And, it's kinda a big one and all on Kate's side. So, I'm tensed up and waiting for the explosions to start, but............yeah, it's chem class all over again. You know, there's always that one kid in class that wants to see what this chemical will do when mixed with that chemical and BOOM! Drew and Kate are like that, and the best part is that it's told from Drew's POV the entire time, so this shit isn't candy-coated and covered in fucking hearts and flowers with sympathy shit cards all over the side. Drew is in your face, to the point, honest and raw. The telling of this story is poignant!

Oh, and because I'm in a pervi-club, I can't go without mention of the sex. This shit is FIRE!!! another awesome thing about getting a story from a mans POV, we get the sex talk more times in this book and I fucking love it <3 <3 <3

A definite MUST read!!! I laughed hysterically throughout the majority of this book and even found some very relate-able-to-Drew moments.
