Synopsis:
Life isn’t

I watch Jesika as the realization
of that being the toy I had bought her registers on her face. “This
is it,” she mouths. I nod and she blushes.

call it. We have this sort of love hate relationship. It feels so good.
You think you have plenty of time to take in all the goodness it makes

Oh
I want more of this book. This whole series is all connected and
twisted and I just want everyone to figure it out and be happy! This
is Book 2 in the Timing is Everything series and I loved it. Seth is a
hot, tattooed rocker and Mallory is an unapologetically sexy chick.
These are two people who are fucked up in a lot of the same ways,
avoiding everything hard and uncomfortable, and that just works against
them. They want each other but only in the right circumstances. Except
those circumstances keep fucking with them! Apparently everyone feels
the need to be noble and honorable. Basically, I alternated between
wanted to nut punch Seth and lick his tattoos. (Licking usually wins
out, but still.) I was thrown at
first by the give and take between our two lead characters. I felt like
I'd be less forgiving and way less cool than Mallory. But as the story
unfolds, you see them coming to grips with their own shit and that let's
them actually function as a true couple. Because they have so many of
the same issues, they understand the other's actions without the need to
hash and rehash and beat a dead fucking horse. I love this.
