Holy. Fuckballs.
I have just been taken on the darkest, most painful, gut wrenching, eye burning, breath hitching, erotic ride of my life. If you thought Tears of Tess was a journey, wait until you read Q. Fuck me.
It's almost impossible to put this into words. And I really don't want to give ANYTHING away, because it would take some of your pain away, and that is NOT what Q is all about.
Tears of Tess was hot and dark, but was merely the introduction of Tess and Q's story. Neither one of them knew how they would make the relationship work in line with their needs. Quintessentially Q is about each of them being completely broken down (Completely. Broken. The. Fuck. Down.), so they can rebuild a new relationship and life together.
I liked Tess and Q from the very beginning. And as this book goes on, I fell completely, painfully in love with both of them. They have such strengths and such weaknesses and SUCH demons. And they fight SO hard! Fuck do they fight. It'll take your breath away.
As a disclaimer, I should probably say that this book might not be for everyone (I mean, I think EVERYONE should read it, but they might not be able to handle it). When I say dark, I mean throw other "dark" reads out the fucking window. It's raw and it hurts. But there is redemption and love and really poignant sensuality. It's perfection.
(By the way, it's crazy hot. I literally ached with need and the results of this are things that would probably make me blush if I were someone different. Reading is fun!)

The more I opened the eyes where Tess was concerned the more I saw. I had an affinity with languages and slowly I grew to know Tess’s. That thought stopped me short. Had she come to read me as much as I grew to read her? Were we both screaming the truth and we just couldn’t understand each other?
