Six years after the McLendon brothers lost their wife during the birth of their twins they are merely existing. Focused only on running their ranch and raising their boys, finding another woman to share their hearts with isn't even a dot on their map.....until Claira Robbins drops into their family like a baby bird falling from its nest.
She certainly ruffles more than a few feathers. Matt and Mason believe she is the one who will heal their hearts and family. Their older brother Grey? He plans to live the rest of his life comfortably numb from the neck down, even if it kills him...and it just might if Claira's lethal past catches up to her.
Can they convince Grey to let go of the past and give love a second chance? Or will his own haunting secret destroy what is left of their family for good?
WARNING: Second Chances is a MFMM erotica menage romance and contains explicit sex scenes. Content suitable for adult readers only. Oh, and absolutely no steamy action between brothers, because that would just be awkward.
A Review of Second Chances by D. L. Roan
Yesterday I finished read Second Chances by D. L. Roan, but there’s nothing remarkable about that. The point is that I read it in a 24 hour period which included housework, meals, watching a few television programs and sleeping. I found it extremely difficult to put down and while I was watching those television programs, I was reading during the commercials.
I admit I love erotic romances, but throw in a bit of kink and a ménage and I’m lost in another world. I think the idea of being loved by more than one man is something many women fantasise about, but rarely admit.
A cowboys will always have a place in my heart, butthree gorgeous cowboy brothers is enough to have any woman swooning, taking deep breaths and fanning herself. But there’s more…….a woman who is on the run with a new identity and a man who is obsessed with catching, raping and killing her. Plus he doesn’t really care about the order of the last two things.
Put this altogether and you have thrilling book which you can’t put down because of the rollercoaster of emotions you feel and the need to keep turning the pages so you can find out what happens next.
If I could I would give it 10 out 5 stars because, for me, it ticked every box. Now I’m off to look for any other books written by D. L. Roan.
