Clare's Review: This was a fantastic and wonderful story. It kept me guessing, kept me hurting, lusting, loving, catching my breath. Wendy read it first and we were told it was a must read, and it was!!! It was emotional and heart-felt and HOT!! I could have kept reading it forever!
Syn is a young country girl and country music star (I heart country music so much...) and Rhye is a damaged rock star. I mean...what's better than a damaged rock star???? I want to fix them....
And so does Syn. Turns out, she's no pussy. I so dig her and so will you. Rhye is hot and fucked up (like, real fucked up) but so good hearted underneath. It alternates POVs so you get a great feel for both characters and get so emotionally attached and invested. My only mild complaint is that I could have read even more detail and taken a teensy bit more time with the story. I love angst….I thrive on it, but only the fictional kind. I adore a story that grips the reader from the beginning and doesn’t let go…EVER. I’m an avid reader who just recently discovered my love of writing. My favorite things in life include my three wild & crazy kids, Reese’s Pieces, and every genre of music. I reside in the Deep South.
