The very original blurb and sexy cover sparked my interest...
unfortunately that was all that sparked.
Which sucked puss oozing assholes.
I wanted to love Taint....
The beginning of Taint was slow but the ending was rushed.
I had a difficult time connecting to any the characters.
Most were sort of boring and bland.
Drake was just "mehh".
He is hot as hell but doesn't give me that ALPHA vibe.
He's just mostly a dick.
Of course he falls for a "student", Ally.
Too bad, it only took 1.2 seconds for him to be obsessed with her.
Then we had the entire book to listen to him contemplate his feelings for her.
"Should I...Shouldn't I"
Too repetitive.
Although, I LOVED the male POV!
I liked Ally.
She was smart, pretty, funny and took no shit off Drake, which was weird cause she took waaaay too much bullshit form her cheating husband!
Hmmmm, that's fucked up, huh?!
(and doesn't make too much sense)
The chemistry between Drake and Ally was non-existent.
I felt nothing, but disappointment.
Or IDK,
maybe I was just expecting so much more?!

Her writing style is flawless and flows effortlessly.
My review of Taint in NO WAY reflects my love of her as an author!

I have been so bummed out with so many books that have come out they all have great potential but I just haven't found anything that has wowed me. I have been checking for reviews of this one because the cover is HOT, the blurb was catchy...which as sad as it sounds that usually means the book doesn't grab and hold on the way I am anticipating.
